About Baraka Point Estate
A sun deck set low within volcanic boulders overlooking the Caribbean Sea is just one of the many highlights of the extraordinary Baraka Point Estate, located on a private headland in the British Virgin Islands.
You will almost feel like you’re floating on water from the laid-back luxury of this heavenly retreat distinctive with its copper-peaked pavilions. Hazy lazy days can be spent on the beach, while a dedicated chef whips up a procession of dishes from a casual breakfast to more formal dinner. In the central pavilion you will find a shaded infinity pool along with a bar and cocktail lounge.
The six exotically named suites, separated by tropical gardens and swaying palms, are influenced by countries around the world which is reflected in the rich décor. King-size beds lie between bird cage lamps in the Mandarin Master Suite and polished Moroccan zellige tiles in the Marrakech Principal Suite.
Floor-to-ceiling Iroko wood doors open out to private decks or terraces overlooking the amazing views across to Nail Bay, Long Bay, and Mountain Trunk Bay. But as the saying goes, the devil is in the detail and here you will find hidden hammocks for afternoon naps, handy outdoor showers and two cosy bunk bedrooms which are neatly tucked off the family suites.
Steps lead down to the beach which is the perfect spot for sunbathing, snorkelling, paddleboarding or a complimentary morning yoga session. A beach buggy is also available for you to explore Mountain Trunk beach or Long Bay. Slightly further afield is The Baths on Virgin Gorda, a natural wonder of boulders, caverns and secret rock pools.
While high-tech gym equipment is available on the shady terrace of the villa, you can also enjoy complimentary access to the nearby Nail Bay Sports Club which includes a restaurant, tennis, squash and a fitness suite.
