About Le Jardin d’Eden
The name says it all. The formal gardens of this distinctive French country house are simply magnificent, and demand to be explored at leisure. An ideal base for touring the beauty of Provence, Le Jardin d’Eden is situated just outside historic St-Remy-de-Provence, close to Avignon and Arles. With its spacious, comfortable interiors and gorgeous outside spaces, it makes a wonderful option both for groups and large families.
The ground floor has a fully equipped country-style kitchen with a range cooker, as well as a drawing room, TV room and formal dining area, all of which open to a pleasant terrace shaded by plane trees.
Upstairs there are eight chic bedrooms, bathed in natural light, spread over two floors. Le Jardin d’Eden also has two further bedrooms in separate, air-conditioned annexes, allowing for flexible accommodation. One of these is set within the Portuguese garden, with access to a refreshing plunge pool.
A second, larger heated swimming pool is found in an African-themed section of the gardens, with a cosy cabin to shade in and a summer kitchen. A private tennis court allows you to burn off any energy after all that relaxing.
The beguiling grounds were designed by a renowned landscape gardener, and are perhaps best admired from a handy viewing platform housed in a plane tree.
