About Lyra Estate
Carved from a secluded limestone hillside, the Lyra Estate looks out over the boundless blues of the Ionian Sea. The estate consists of the three-bedroom main house (which can be hired individually as Villa Lyra) and a two-bedroom guesthouse, accessed through a set of ornate Indian doors in a landscaped dividing wall.
With a full staff, including a chef, concierge and housekeeper, guests can expect service that matches the luxury of the surroundings. Modern interiors in whites and neutral tones are designed for utter comfort, the open plan living area with its sumptuous sofas and dining area expanding out onto a magnificent terrace with nothing but the sea and the sky beyond. All five of the en-suite bedrooms are perfection in their comfortable simplicity and orientated for mesmerising sea views.
The estate’s gardens are a delight to wander, a pink stone path wending its way down to the seafront where there is a private sea platform with jetty and ladder where you can take a refreshing dip. Exploring it reveals many secrets including a wisteria covered pergola under which you can dine, a cliffside infinity pool designed to emulate a rock pool and the glorious jacuzzi pavilion.
