Fall in love with Fira and Oia

Head for Fira in the morning of this half-day excursion to soak up the town’s vibrant atmosphere. While you’re there, take the opportunity to photograph the spectacular views over the multi-coloured cliffs. After a short stroll in Fira, you may wish to drive north to Oia, famed for being the most picturesque town on Santorini. Gaze at the beautiful whitewashed houses sculpted from the rocky cliff tops, with windmills and caves set on the very edge of the precipice. Continue with a visit to one of the three best wineries on the island. Santorini is home to some of the oldest vineyards in the world, and produces truly unique white wine using the Assyrtiko grape. Red wine connoisseurs, meanwhile, will be impressed by the up and coming Mavrotragano variety. Alternatively, art lovers may prefer to visit the Art Space, a unique gallery set within caves of pumice rock.
