About Capri
With its rough-hewn but lush and leafy landscape, Capri has been famed as a haven of hedonism since Roman times. Sheer limestone cliffs seem to topple into the bay, while the settlements on this tiny island boast more than their fair share of piazzas, boutique stores and lazy cafes. Our luxury villas in Capri are ideally situated to let you explore this island’s heady mix of ruins, seascapes and craggy coves.
For a dash of retail therapy, hit the shops of Capri to discover designer fashions and leather goods galore. With countless coastal cafes to choose from, relax between purchases with an Italian coffee as you watch the world go by. Better yet, indulge in a delicious limoncello. You’re on holiday after all!
One of our favourite sites on the island is the Blue Grotto. Accessible from an innocuous cove off the coast, the sea in this natural cave glows cobalt blue. This remarkable effect is caused by sunlight streaming in and reflecting off the limestone rock below. Explore by boat, or even swim through. It’s an eerie and spectacular experience.
After you’ve had your fill of sun and sea, return to your villa for a peaceful sundowner on the terrace. As the sun sinks low on the horizon, lose yourself gazing down upon the vast number of yachts dotting the bay beneath you.

Tipping
You are not expected to tip on top of restaurant service charges, though leaving a small amount is common practice. If there is no service charge, you might consider leaving 10%/15%, but it is not obligatory. In bars any small change is left as a tip. Tipping taxi drivers is also not mandatory but suggested.
