About Villa Il Santo
There are several imaginatively restored villas in Tuscany, but few with the grace of Villa Il Santo. An ancient Tuscan tower and a hay barn have been completely restored and creatively connected by a glass corridor. Combining the romance of a typical Tuscan country retreat with contemporary sleek interiors of supreme refinement, the villa offers plenty of space for large groups or extended family gatherings. And it can accommodate them in style.
The well equipped kitchen, huge dining room and several ample living rooms are joined by nine bedrooms, some with en suites and others boasting living areas. Villa Il Santo is a Tuscan villa that comfortably sleeps 16, and still leaves you with sufficient privacy to experience its air of tranquil repose.
There are several furnished outdoor areas, including the al fresco dining terrace. These offer plenty of reasons to linger outdoors long after the sun has set and the stars fill the sky. The garden’s manicured lawns are fringed by roses and jasmine. The infinity pool offers views over the amazing Chianti countryside.
Atmospheric vistas are provided during the day by vineyards and the medieval towers of San Gimignano. Central Tuscany is at your doorstep, yet you stay in sophisticated seclusion. Siena and Florence exert a strong pull, but we recommend also experiencing the delightful villages closer to home. Try the Elsa Valleys Tavarnelle and Barberino, the sublime Antinori wine of ancient Badia a Passignano, and Chianti’s Panzano for its unmissable Cecchini restaurant.
