About Perthshire Manor
Perthshire Manor occupies the five-star high ground in Aberfeldy, Scotland. An exclusive-use property, the house sleeps up to 18 guests in Highland luxury.
The misty, mountainous position is its strongest card. From the terrace, the sight of the Tay Valley stretching all the way to Schiehallion will take your breath away. A wood-fired, natural cedar hot tub is an indulgent spot to appreciate the location, hidden down in the woods beside the house. Gather around the fire pit in the evening for a nightcap under the stars.
Nine individually designed bedrooms all come with en-suite bathrooms, two of which have freestanding baths, one even boasts its own steam room. Superior beds are bedecked with Egyptian cotton bedlinen. Premium towels and bathrobes are from Harper London.
Perthshire Manor can be catered by Ballintaggart Farm − Michelin Guide for 2020 − using the best local, seasonal produce to serve guests with delicious tailor-made dishes. Full housekeeping, butler and concierge services keep everything ticking over seamlessly. Make use of the 5.5-metre-long bronze and oak table – the longest of its kind in the world.
The manor isn’t too stuffy for an installation of the latest kit: the cinematic experience benefits from high-end Bose surround sound, as does the wireless Spotify connection in the lounge. From a cutting-edge design and architectural point of view, Perthshire Manor has featured in some of Europe’s leading publications: Elle Decoration in the UK, Côté Maison in France, NYa rum in Sweden and Residence NL in the Netherlands.
Prime location doesn’t mean isolation; a village with shops and restaurants is a pleasant 600-metre walk away. For those who want to arrive in style, request permission to use the Perthshire Manor helicopter landing pad.
For the complete Highland Life package, experiences on offer include whisky tours and salmon fishing on the River Tay.
